Friends hosted a benefit for Legacies of War, a Lao cooking class. We learned to cook 5 Lao dishes and then got to eat them.

The mission of Legacies of War is to raise awareness about the history of the Vietnam War era bombing in Laos. Channapha Khamvongsa led the class. She is the Executive Director of Legacies of War

We learned to cook:

Larp Tofu

Mok Pha, steamed fish in banana leaf

Nam, spicy red curry rice salad with shrimp

Tum Mak Hoong, green papaya salad
